Been lurking for a while, never post much thanks to the search function, but I'm having some issues...

245/35/20 (on car when bought) tires

I lowered the sedan with the 350z unrevised springs and have a couple concerns.

Drop looks great and even except for rear passenger side doesn't sit as low. It didn't drop the same distance. It almost looks like it did before (just a slight difference) BUT something I noticed..

The passenger rear tire doesn't sit as flush as the driver side rear and doesn't tuck like the driver side either. It's almost like it sticks out more.

What's more weird is that this side that doesnt sit as low rubs when I hit certain bumps. It doesn't rub the inside of the wheel well but closer to the outside, making it seem like even if I rolled the fender it would still hit the top of the (fender) because that wheel sticks out further...I don't get it.

From what I understand the 35 series are too tall. Luckily that tire went to crap when I hit a pothole last week and I am ready for new tires.

Any recommendations on what size tire to go with? i was thinking 245/30/20 but i dont know if that will stop the rub or matter that the wheel itself sticks out further, yet only slightly enough to where its hitting right under the fender.

I wish I could take a picture to show a little better but unfortunately its on the donut right now, which is definitely tucked inside the wheel well

Not running any spacers or anything like that.

One thing I might add is that this tire never held air when it got cold. It was the only one to lose air in the cold weather. the way it went bad was when I was low on air hit a pot hole and the sidewall bubbled out and pretty much deformed the tire when it got warm out (never seen this on any of my cars and always ran low pros)

The tire is a Kumho Ecsta SPT Summer tire.

Sounds like you need a thrust alignment.

How much higher did the passenger side sit? A little variation is normal.

 

About 1/4-.5 inches. Also was teh same before the drop, forgot to mention.

starting to realize the uneven drop in that rear corner is pretty normal.

Still no Idea why that wheel sticks out further. Could be that a thrust alignment is needed but the car drives fine and rear tires wear even.

Could it be that its not as low as the other side causing it to rub more? weird as that sounds...maybe if i try to remove the spring mount (to test) on that side and see what it looks like or if the wheel will tuck.

Any other ideas would be helpful!

Also some tires (brand/size) suggestions would be great

First and second pic show driver side, no rubs on this side.

Last pic shows where the passenger rear wheel was rubbing. shouldn't it rub closer to the inside? I am not aware.
