Can't mount my new wheel? HELP!
2 Attachment(s)
I just bought some used wheels which I can't get to mount on. After about 30 mins of struggling with trying to mount one front wheel on, I finally realized something between two of the wheel studs was blocking the wheel. I have posted pictures of what I think is the problem (orange piece between wheel stud) and the back of wheel. Someone help! What am I missing? I was so excited and now I'm bummed and feel like a moron for not being able to get the wheels on.

all u need to do is just remove that stud. the purpose of it was to make sure u dont mix up your oem rear wheels with your fronts. just twist it off and ur good

Thank You very much! LOL I can't believe it is that simple. I was literally cursing so loud in my garage out of frustration as sweat was dripping down my head from trying to mount one wheel.

lol. good thing u got it

I was very close to kicking the wheel:banghead:

Pics afterwards?

I did the same thing back in the day. Never thought twice about removing it, lol. +1 on the pics....

hehe, I gave up for the day after mounting my oem wheel back on. Will try to post pics in the morning when I give it another shot. I'm a little hesitant at posting pics in the morning too because I havent install my springs yet, and I know I'm gonna get a bunch of "drop your car first" comments .

Don't worry, when I got my winter wheels/tires, even the installer at a large tire shop was kinda freaked out.
