2008 Staggered OEM 18" Wheels - Tires ?

I have the 2008 staggered 18" wheels on my 2004 G.... They currently have 225 50 18 tires on the front & 245 45 18 on the back... Can I put the same size tire on all 4 wheels?

Yes you could. Your front rims are 18x7.5. Nissan maximas are 18x7.5 all around and come with a 245/45r18 tire from the manufacturer. I actually hav maxima tire in the front of my G and looks and performs just fine, if not better. I have 245 on all for corners.

Other than the fact that this isn't a maxima...

Are these the OEM 18s with the 8/9 stagger?

If so yea fine you can run whatever size you want, but I'd recommend picking the larger of the two. So run 245/45 on all 4 corners.

"Other than the fact that this isn't a maxima..." stating the obvious here arent we??? i used maximas as a comparison. i wasnt calling the G a maxima. and as far as 2008 18s go. they are 18x7.5 front and 18x8.5 rear. hence why i was comparing the front to maximas

Maximas 18x7.5
G35 front 18x7.5

and incase you didnt know the rear of the 2008 G rims are 18x8.5 and have 245/45r18 tires. so i was just explaining how you could go 245 all the way around which was the op question. and the reason why i didnt say anything about the 225/50r18 (that comes stock in the front) is because that would be too thin and would look stretched on the 18x8.5 (rear) rims.

You did not make anything clear in your post is what I was pointing at.
He's asking about staggering and you're telling him about your maxima tires, you just make the thread confusing and bring more questions for him.

OP, You can put whatever size tire on your car that works for you as long as you keep the overall diameters close to spec and within 3% of each other front and back.

225/50 and 245/45 are basically the same size tire anyways and 20mm on an undersized wheel with a fat sidewall doesn't really matter. For every 20mm jump in tread width, you need to move the profile up one increment of 5. Hence the 50 and 45 stagger.

So long story short (if you didn't want to learn it) you can run a 225/50 front and back or 245/45 front and back. Makes no difference.

Exactly so 245 45 18 which is what comesstock in the rear of 08 g wheels could also be used in the front therefore having all tires the same size while using stagered wheels.

correct but what i was trying to explain that you didnt understand is that the 08 g wheels have 245/45 r18 in the rear but 225/50 in the front. the op wants to know if he could go the same size all around and i was trying to explain that he could go 245 all around. i was using the maxima example to prove that nissan actually puts 245/45 tires on 7.5inch rims so he wont have to worry about the tire being to wide on his front rims which are also 7.5inches wide. Get me?? i actually have an 08 g sedan so i know exactly what he is talking about. i asked the same question before. instead of buying 245 for the rear and 225 for the front i just put 245 all around. you could also go 225 or any tire size with the same diameter but i didnt mention that because im personally using 245.

Yea I know what you were saying, but you just through a spiral into it by saying you have maxima tires.

Just gotta simplify to explain, you were saying the right thing you just didn't get it across lol

I deal in the wheel and tire question thread like it's my job so I explain everything in really simple terms, but then someone always jumps into to give advice but they make points that are irrelevant and it usually confuses the **** outta the OP.

May not have been the case here, but I think now you know what I'm saying lol
