Optimal PSI for 17" Pilot Sport A/S?

I just replaced my original Goodyear Eagle RSA's with four Michelin Pilot Sport A/S's, 225/50/17 in the front and 235/50/17 in the rear. The dealer who installed them said they are a higher pressure tire than the Goodyears and should be inflated to 40 PSI. That seems high to me, considering Infiniti recommended 30 PSI for the RSA's. Is this guy right? Does anybody know what the 17" Pilot Sport A/S's should be inflated to on a G35 coupe?

Re: Optimal PSI for 17" Pilot Sport A/S?

i try to keep my tires aroun 35psi and fill up to about 38psi generally... 35psi is a good rule of thumb for tires. 40psi sounds like the upper end of the ladder to me
