07 coupe with sport package

Hi i've searched and searched. I have a 07 coupe with sport package and 19in sport rims. My wife was driving the other day and the drivers side rear tire shredded. She was driving home on the freeway all of a sudden started fish tailing, she got to the side of the road asap came to a stop and thats when she saw the tire go rolling in front of the car. She had no low pressure indication, no noises or feeling of a loose tire slapping the car. We only had the car for a month picked up from infiniti mission viejo. the dealer put hankook ventus V12's all the way around. what I want to know is what is the OEM tire that comes from the factory on 19In rims and what would cause a new tire to shred like that off the rim? I looked at the tire no signs of puncture or cut. even the side walls look shredded. no damage to the rear rim though just minor body damage. Any insight would be helpful. I'm thru with hankook tire as soon as my car is fixed taking it to costco and getting some Michelins

P.S please excuse my grammar and punctuation was in a hurry typing this out

The 19's come with Potenzas from factory. Maybe it was a defective tire? I have hankook V12's and no problems at all.

I'm still scratching my head in this. Thanks for the info, we have never had a new tire just come off like that. Just happy it stayed on the rim long enough for her to get over safely then go rolling off after the stop
