Bore size question
Bore size question
I never had the chance to understand the bore sizes and the compatibility of them with the car, wheels and the spacers.
I found some cheap H&R hubcentric spacers 5x114.3 with a 60.1 bore size, would that work in our g35 coupes?
Not sure if it matters, but my wheels are volk racing sf-winning.
Thanks.

No those will not work, our cars have a 66.1 hub bore.
If you pull your wheel off and look at your hub. In the center of the wheel studs you will see circular lip (in our case 66.1mm in diameter). The bore of the wheel in theory is supposed to be supported by that. The wheel rides on that, if the wheel bore matches the hub bore, if not then the weight of the car rides on the wheel studs. Some wheels are Lug centric and designed to be supported and centered by the wheel studs.

You can just bolt them up and go. If you buy hub centric wheel spacers they will bolt up just fine too. Just buy some spacers with a 66.1mm bore 5x114.3. The wheels will fit the spacers just the same as they would fit the hub without the spacers.
