Oh so you mean a sideways moving impact.... that left zero curb rash on the exterior lip?

I'll guarantee that happened at low speed. Shitty cast line makes for a shitty wheel.

can't take sarcasm I see?

And even if I was serious, we don't know if this was a front or rear rim, he could have been turning and hit a curb impacting the tire directly but still causing enough force to crack the rim. Or if it was on the rim directly, you can't even see the most likely piece of lip near the crack.

This is true, she posted in here her whole ordeal.
I think she was traveling on the 110 to Pasadena. But I think hers were Linea Corsa or the other brand..

I think Varr is the same thing, its just when things go bad on your older names... how you supposed to show a good history? Change company name. no one will even notice.. ROFL

could be possible if his tire pressure was super low, after all that's how 90% of wheels get bent

I agree, I don't think we're getting the full story.
Either that or it was just a poor casting of the wheel.

Oh really, you can't tell that's a front brake?

When a wheel hits a curb from sideways it scars minimum a 12" rash against the lip, there is no 12" of lip hidden in that photo (go hold your wheel in front of a curb and see how much is directly in line with the curb edge)

If you mean driving over a curb straight that would not crack the face from the barrel it would crack the lip to face. (horizontal to vertical damage)

Get more observant and less sarcastic.

Didn't bother looking at the brake.

As far as 12", where in the world are you getting this figure? This would be dependent on the angle of the turn since it is a front wheel as well as the curb height in relation to the wheel. Not all curbs are a standard height.

And no I did not say straight over a curb, as I clearly stated before it can be any type of angle with a front wheel.

Get off your high horse and accept we don't know the exact situation that led to the failure. I know you are a wheel ***** and love 4k+ wheels, but at least acknowledge it doesn't have to be a huge defect with the wheel to cause that damage. Who knows what this person really did? I doubt they would tell us the truth if they were doing something that would prohibit any possibility of a warranty because of their actions.
