Step lip or regular lip? Help me decide...

So I'm in a little bit of a dilemma....

I ordered wheels a few months back from Evasive (20" Work Gnosis HS201 in MGM) and they arrived finally (Thanks, Tony). But there's a problem... I wanted step lip, but they made me regular lips! I saw them in person today, and they do look great... but I can't decide to just take them or wait another 3-4 months for them to make it exactly like I want them. One incentive to keeping these is I get $150 off the total. The downside to getting them proper is the long wait, plus someone else will end up buying these and having mgm hs201's before I do.

I do know it's ultimately my decision, but wanted to hear some opinions first...

In step lip:

I voted for step lip before I had a chance to read your situation. Tough choice! Those wheels are beautiful as is and the step lips are hard to walk away from. $150 isn't much to sway me though....I'd still vote step lip again because that is ultimately what you wanted.

Really depends on what you want like you said. I think both would look great, but I would probably just keep what you have and take that discount towards a tire. Those lips are massive and sex!

But if you really want step, don't settle.

I'd ask for a larger discount, $150 for them ****ing up a pretty serious option when ordering wheels is worth far more than $150 or your 3 or 4 months.

Tell them to sell the wheels to you have cost or just above, they screwed you...

Not a fan of the step lip, the regular lip looks amazing.

Honestly, I'd wait for the steps, rims looks great, but would be that much better step lip.

Thanks for the opinions. Yeah, I'm really leaning towards sticking with getting the step lips...

Step-lip all the way man.

I was looking at these too before I ultimately decided to keep my wheels.

Those wheels are really nice! I really don't think that 150 is a good incentive for messing up such a high ticket order. I think they look good with or without but if you want the step lip, you should get them. Since you have to wait a whole 3-4 months AGAIN...how much are they taking off the step lips?????

Work did... Evasive clearly told them exactly what to make, and they somehow didn't get it right.

Considering the price I got them for, 150 off is actually pretty good, imo. I'm hoping they'd take off 150 if i wait another 3-4 months anyways.

there's a reason you originally chose the step-lips, that's what you really want.
