Looking for wheel/tire help today!

Ok I have been looking for some wheels for awhile and I have found a setup that may be too tempting to pass up IF they fit.

I have a 2003 G35 Coupe non brembo with the stock 17 inch setup. Here are the specs on what I am looking at.

Front-20x8.5 +45 with 245/35/20
Rear-20x10 +41 with 285/30/20

Will these fit? I am stock height and plan on being that way. I don't want to roll fenders at all. I am open to run spacers for a flush look but I want to make sure they will fit and clear the brakes/suspension just fine first so I can drive them and worry about ordering spacers later.

I have done tons of reading on here but haven't found any info about a setup with this offset.

Thanks for your help in advance.

the offsets seem very high for a coupe offset. Without really seeing the spoke design and such it will be hard for anyone to say if they will fit or not. You'll probably be fine, but the offsets are the one thing keeping it from a respectable fit so the spacer may be required.

Thanks for the reply

Just for reference the wheels are Niche Games. I know this doesn't help with spoke clearance. So running 25mm spacers all around would help with clearance issues but would that potentially create rubbing issues?

O.o I dont think those will clear your brembos and aside from that it would look horrible (offset wise)

25mm spacers would probably clear brembos.. but why not just get wheels that fit the g35 and clear brembos without spacers?

Also...

The reason I am even considering these wheels is because the wheels and tires are like new. Tires still have 9/32nds left. Wheels in like new condition. The price is $700 which I figure you can't beat for chrome 20's mounted and balanced with like new tires.

Look for something under 20

I have 20x9 and 20x10, 25 and 20 offset. I had to run 30mm spacers to poke them. 41 and 45 offset are gonna be SUPER weak. Itll be sunk in just like OEM

And just becuz they are cheap doesnt mean you have to buy them.

You can't get even close to flush without rolling the fenders so just give up and by something weak if you're not gonna roll.

I understand that it initially will not look that good. I am fine with it being as tucked as stock for now. My concern is if I buy them and have the shop put them on, I want to be able to run them for a week with no clearance issues or rub issues until I order the proper spacers.

If the selection in my area would be better I would get something with a lower offset. However for this kind of money I can't be that picky. It is either consider these and at least have some decent 20's or buy some 17" XXRs with stock rubber.

Save more money and don't be cheap?

Or buy a civic.

I will have to roll the fenders with stock suspension?

Also just because they fit doesn't guarantee I am going to buy them, but if they fit I will at least take them into serious consideration.

My other option that I was considering before these became available is the XXR 527 17x8.5 +25 front and 17x9.75 rear +25 with stock rubber sizes.

Would that be a better choice in terms of fit/look?

17s will look like ****.

You're going to lower it trust me. If you're considering wheels you'll lower it.

Best bet, buy the OEM 19s off the 2005+ coupes.

I am not looking to buy any amazing wheels. This is my daily driver and the MN roads are far from friendly on wheels with the abundance of giant potholes. If my car were newer I would highly consider getting nicer wheels but it is an 03 daily driver. I am just looking for something that would improve the overall look better than the stock silver 17" wheels in which I have gotten pretty bored in the last year.

17" XXRs won't do that, nor will ugly chrome 20s with terrible offsets.

Keep looking

I have had lowered cars with wheels and trust me I love the look but have found that in terms of practicality in MN it just isn't there. Trust me I know having wheels with stock suspension with all of that wheel gap isn't going to look good, but it will have to look better than these boring silver wheels on there now.

I am looking to go the most cost effective option as I can with out making the car look horrible to the non car enthusiast (everyday person). I have good stock size rubber on there now with plenty of life so I am looking to reuse those if possible. This set came up and has good rubber and is bigger which is why I am considering it.

Trust me if someone had a great set of 19" stock coupe wheels with good rubber for $700ish I would go for it in a heartbeat but that is a pipe dream.
