new tires vs OEM sizes...

ok, so i've been doing some homework and i'm trying to figure out which front tire sizes to run. i'm looking for a little bit shorter sidewall than factory but not much. planning on running 15mm spacers in front, but maybe 20mm on 19" rays. no fender rolls.

i'm thinking about a 245/35/19 up front, which if i used the tire calculator thing right gives me about a 1/4 inch shorter sidewall.

now, some stuff i've found said not to go more than a 3% rolling diameter difference or your VDC will get wonky, but is that difference from OEM tire sizes or comparing front to rear tire sizes? sorry, it's a noob question, but i can't seem to locate the answer.

i don't like the stretched tire look. i basically want my tires to be flush with the rim edge. and have a more "squared" shoulder if that's even an appropriate term...

looking at the hankook line....seems to be in my price range and a good balance of price vs performance. cause i'm only gonna be doing "spirited road driving" as they call it. and i've read reviews that they are a quiet tire.

any thoughts or opinions are appreciated.

so those would be the same width as the OEM sizes with a shorter sidewall, correct?

the difference in sidewall height would be nominal, correct? like you wouldn't look at it and say...those rears are taller than the fronts...

Would be way easier to just roll your rear fenders and then run your standard sizes with no problem with spacers. I was able to run oem front size and a 255 in the rear dropped on z-htechs with 25mm spacers all around with just a rolled rear. If you want to be more flush you would prob want 30mm spacers in the rear, but not sure what tire sizes that fits with depending on your drop...

oh...will standard sizes not fit with those spacers?

my thing is...there's nowhere local that rolls fenders. and i don't wanna get into one of those nightmare situations where the shop has the "OH YEAH WE CAN DO ANYTHING..." attitude and then later i end up with cracked and flaking paint.

i'm kinda planning a trip to see 4DGS and have him do it then hit niagara falls, but that's awhile off.

i'm dropping on eibach pro kits...so i should get 1"

i'm gonna try and install my springs soon so i can get a better feel for how much room i have, but i'm trying to get my damned bumper finished fitting so i can get it painted. been stupid disgusting hot and i don't have enough room in my garage to work on it with the doors down.
