Everything is installed, but there are questions.

Hi all,

I had ordered my setup earlier this summer and finally finished the installation of everything today. The car looks really good on the burning black VS-XX's.

At the moment, I'm tucking tire in the front and the back and currently have no rubbing issues when driving straight. However, when taking tight corners there is some rubbing in the front when turning. I'm assuming that this is clearly unavoidable at this height, but what are some of the affects of rubbing while turning?

Also, my VDC off and Slip lights come on after I drive over 20 mph but don't really affect performance. They just stay on. I was reading elsewhere on this forum that someone had the same issue when they installed the same camber arms that I have. That person got an alignment and the problem resolved. My question: Is that a definite solution for the VDC/Slip light issue? Or is that unavoidable?

Thanks for the help guys!

Oh, and when I get the car cleaned up, I'll take some pictures and post them in this thread!

What all did you install?
Ill effects of the front tire rubbing while turning is the edge of the fender bending out.
When I first installed my coilovers the top of my fender was flush with the tire, well a short trip around the block and few bumps (while turning around) later my tire had rubbed the edge of my fender and bent it out. The front suspension dropped a good 1/4 - 3/8th of an inch on that test drive so my tires were tucked. Needless to say, I raised the car up a little.

I would take a look to see what it's rubbing on.

I installed BC coilovers, SPC A-arms in the front and camber arms in the rear, and I'm on Work VS-XX's (F: 19x9.5 +4, R: 19x10.5 +17).

The vdc issue could be from the rear camber arms. I have read that if the toe is really far off that it will cause vdc issues because you are esentially dragging the tires as you drive. Fix would be an alignment of course. I dont know about the front camber arms, but I believe some have had issues with the speed sensor (when using the shims).
Are you rear wheels noticably toe'd in or out?

Oh yeah, they are definitely toe'd in. That was one of the things I noticed today. I have an alignment scheduled for Monday, so I'm hoping that solve that problem.

Thats probably it right there. I got mine as close as I could so I could drive a little before my appointment, but I was still way off.
