Disc Brakes Australia/Stillen 2-piece w/temp sensors

I am checking around for G drivers who have installed Disc Brakes Australia DB5000 or DB4000 series rotors. Stillen resells them (from brakepros.com) in the USA as well as a couple of other tuner shops.

I am considering strongly using the 2-piece slotted gold hat rotors on the front (5000 series) and 1-piece slotted gold hats (4000 series) on the rear. I like what I read and hear about their temperature-handling ability. I track my coupe several times a year, including twice at RoadAmerica, which is a fast course that is HARD on brakes. There are three 110-130+ straights that end with brake-stressing turns, particularly Moraine Sweep to Turn Five (uphill-downhill-uphill reduced radius left hander) and the Hurry Downs to the Canada Corner (flat-to-uphill tight right hander.)

I am wondering whether the venting technologies manufactured into the DBA rotors plus slotting and high-temp pads like Carbotech or Axxis will be enough or whether I should also consider brake duct venting since the G coupe doesn't have the best ventilation to the rotors and pads? (Btw, I would probably upgrade the brakes lines to Goodridge or equivalent SS lines and I already use Motul 5.1 fluid.)

I am also considering removing or cutting back the splashguards on the inside of the wheel well in order to improve circulation. I know of one coupe owner whom has done this - anyone else? Impressions?

Any and all opinions are solicited!

Thanks for your time in reading this.
