What should I get, 40 or 45 series tires?

I am about to buy some rims, but I noticed that the stock 18's come with 45 series tires....it's kind of hard to find 45 series tires for 18s, most manufacturers make 40 series.

Should I search around and get the 45 series or just stick with 40 and have more choices in wheel widths and such?

I know 45 series will be better for a smoother ride and such, but will I also like it how they fill up the wheel well more.

Any suggestions?

Suggest you look for 235/40R18's for the front and 275/40R18's on the rear. Stock rims should handle
them and they will fit for clearance. Most important is that
the rears are the same diameter as the 245/45R18's meaning
your spedometer should not need a new gear.
