Lightbulb Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 vs Falken FK 452

Hello All,

As per the title states what is the better choice?
I am replacing all 4 on my 2005 g35 coupe with the 19" sport-tuned package;

Sizes are 225/40/19 Fronts
245/40/19 Rear

Any recommendations or advice is appreciated.
Is this the only size I can go with since I have the 19" wheel package?
Looking to save $$$ while longevity is key.

Thanks,

Jeff

Falkens will last slightly longer but the Hankooks are an overall better tire.

Im am not happy at all with my Falkens, i have about 10k miles on them and they make alot of road noise...I was happier with my kumho tires before, but I am going with the hankooks next.

Go with the Hankooks you won't regret it, also you might want to consider the Nitto Invo which are excellent too.

Can't say much on the Falken as we don't carry them. However, the V12 has been very successful. I've not had a complaint on that tire yet and it performs great for the money.

just asked a friend about the falken 452's vs. the hankooks. apparently the hankooks are semi-notorious for having squishy sidewalls, which sometimes leads to air loss. either way, i got my falkens in yesterday and should have them installed very very soon, i'll let you guys know how the ride is.

I have the Hankooks with about 30K miles, still running pretty good.

DO NOT GET THE FALKEN 452s!
The road noise is awful!
The metal frame around my right front speaker is loose now from the vibration of these tires after 6 months of driving.
You will be dissapointed with them.
Go with the Hankooks or some other comparable tire.

imo the Hankooks are a better choice than the Falkens. As someone mentioned earlier the V12's sidewall is on the soft side. Do yourself a favor and take a look at the Vredestein Sessanta's. They def should be on your short list.

Thanks everyone for the great feedback, seems like the Hankook tires are solid for the price point. Now that those are decided time to see what 18" or 19" wheels catch my eyes.

I would get the Hankook V12's over the 452's. I'am on my second set of V12's and they have been a solid tire and they are well priced. The 452's have been known to have their sidewall fail. The V12's grip well in dry and wet conditions. But, the sidewall seems to be a bit soft. Hit up City tire in Southgate. They have great prices.
