spacers on aftermarket wheels

I need to get either a 15mm or 20mm spacer with my aftermarket wheels. If I get the ones that have the built in studs, will those work with aftermarket wheels? Or will I have to get the ones without the built in studs and buy the extended studs?
Please help.

Check the backside of your wheels to see of they have pockets between the holes for the studs. The OE studs will protrude past the edge(face) of the spacer (with built in studs) so you need the pockets so the wheels can sit flush. If not then you will need to go with longer studs and a spacer.

if you get the spacers with studs attached, make sure they're the right bolt pattern. don't end up with a 5x114 wheel and 5x120 studs, you'd be screwed then.
