^ Before trying to discredit a company look at everything not just a few complaints.
They still have an A rating with the BBB and the BBB has determined that Hubcap Haven & Wheels meets BBB accreditation standards, which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints.

Would I buy wheels from them...probably not. Lots of people just want inexpensive replacement wheels and this is the type of place they get them.

At no point did I disparage or attempt to discredit the company. I simply linked their own disclaimer pointing out that the these are refurbished or replica wheels and that for purposes of advertising they consider them the same thing. Furthermore I linked the BBB so that others would have the opportunity to see the types of interactions customers have had with the company. Clearly within the BBB link you can see that HH at no point intended to deceive or otherwise manipulate their customers and have repeatedly attempted to "make good."

The reason for linking those two web sites was an attempt to help those that may be less savvy to understand exactly what they were dealing with. The fact that there are several BBB complaint clearly indicates there has been a lot of confusion in the past with customers.

I am simply lending some assistance to the Driver community as I have for several years.

Watch those accusations ya bum.

^ alright, perhaps 'discredit' was too strong. You did title the link, "Knock off wheels from China. Woot!". There is nothing in the link that indicates the IPL-like wheels are from China. This is an IPL wheel thread after all.

We really only want to find out about the IPL wheels they have listed. No one cares about some guy who was ticked off because they didn't have the listed supply of '96 ford Probe wheels.

Who you calling a bum

There is every indication that those "IPL" wheels are in fact knock off wheels from China (or some other country where manufacturing is cheap). The site clearly states that the wheels are either refurbished or replica and they consider them to be the same. It goes on to say that they will ship you whatever they want unless you specify.

Concede your point sir!

Until someone here inquires about the wheels, and reports their findings on this forum, we will not have definitive proof. Yes they could be knock offs but they also could be refurbished.

Concede...no. Without proof, you are claiming they are knock offs. (You may be correct).
