opinions on Toyo Proxes 1 and going wide'er

So right now I am pretty satisfied with my Hankook V12s sized 285/30/19-F and 305/30/19-R, but they are due for replacement and it has me thinking of changing things up a bit.

Size wise I am thinking of going with 295/30/19 in the front and 325/30/19 in the rear. I happened to come across an outstandingly good deal on the Toyo PX1s, otherwise I will probably go with Nitto INVOs. I'd love to stick with my V12s, but they do not run that wide for the rear.

Here is my car now:

Going wider with the rears I am not worried about and in fact I will probably dial out some negative camber to get a better contact patch and wear pattern. For the fronts though, spec sheets are indicating I will be gaining about .5-inches or so to the total tire width (.25-inches on each side). As it stands now I never rub at all with the 285s, but I am worried the 295s will prompt that problem. My best guess is I will have to simply pull the front fenders a smidgen and/or raise my ride height.

Anyone have any thoughts on the sizes or even the tire choices?

To answer some questions that might be prompted. I want to go this wide because I like grip and just like all the stanced folks out there, I simply like having wide *** tires.

I'm a fat rubber guy myself, but at one point you gotta ask yourself "What am I gaining?" With what you're currently running is all that rubber on the road at speed? Probably not and with your mods you're not breaking those tires loose so why even run what you are? I know, "you like how it looks".... Me too!

I hear what you guys are saying but I've never been one to chase HP numbers or body kits.. It's always been about clean oem lines and cornering grip.

I actually made a mistake on the toyos because they do not come in a 325 rear. The Nitto INVO does but maybe you guys are right and maybe ill stick with my current sizes and the V12s. I do want to prep the car for more track racing at which point ill pick up some fat 18s.

I like your style. Clean OEM lines, functional but still beautiful.
Keep the current tire sizes it looks perfect. And you'll have money for track wheels.

Dam, what size rims do you have to fit them tires!!!
I also love wide tires but dont know what to choose from
Rims are 10x19 +35 and tires Hankook V12 evos
now either 255/40 front with 285/35
or 255/35 and 295/30
or 265/30 and 295/30

i read that ppl dont like such a small sidewall.. you have any reason not to? does it affect handling, braking, decreased tire life more than 1-2000miles ???

i first had a 255/35 and 295/30 combo and it was ok. The front end defintely wanted more grip, so I stepped up to the 285/30 305/30 combo and fell in love all over again.
