Anyone having issues with Forgestar?

Placed my wheel order on August 4th, but the transaction didn't go through until August 8th. I'm fine with that, not really a big deal. When i spoke to the rep i was told it would be a 5 to 6 week waiting period to arrive and not the previous 3 to 5 weeks. Again i told him it was okay with that.

They were supposed to arrive last week before Znationals, but they told me they were almost done machining it and were about to go into powdercoating. I called them earlier today and the rep told me they were in the powdercoating stage and has no idea what the status on them is? Is anyone going through this situation right now? Or went through them?

My recommendation is to take the wheel off every 6 months - 1 year and clean/inspect the barrel.

I've heard enough horror stories about their failure for quality control and more importantly the rising cases of people finding hairline cracks in the barrel after riding on them regularly for a year.

Gives me enough reason to steer clear of em.

If you get em, just be careful and like I said inspect the barrel every so often and hopefully oyu should be fine.
