Everyone has different opinions.

I've had the FK452's, oem RE050A's, and now running Nankang NSII. Can't tell any difference and they're all lasting less than 15k with uneven wear on my 06 6MT coupe (19's Rays). I'm an enthusiastic driver, but no tracking.

Get an alignment to help with ur wear issue, and if you can't tell a difference then idk what kind of "enthusiastic" driver you are lol I noticed yesterday that my sumitomo HTRZ's don't make noise when they break traction if the road is cold and they are hot lol kinda surprised me when i got sideways and heard no noise so I corrected a tad late lmao

Been there done that on the alignment. Z and G coupes are setup to destroy tires for the sake of better handling.

well idk, my tires didn't get uneven wear when it was stock, maybe a tiny bit of camber wear in the rear but nothing I couldn't deal with, I still got 40k out of my oem bridgestones.

You're a sedan. 40k out of my 19" RE050A's that are stock on the coupe would have been impossible.

Okay then, my friend got like 25k out of his nitto invo's on his HR Z, that he tracked and was lowered for 10k of that wear & his front nitto's are still above wear bars. the only "uneven" wear you may be getting would be a bit of inner camber wear, which is normal. if you get uneven wear anywhere else then you need to get an alignment or start checking ur suspension for broken parts causing uneven wear.

I should add that if I had 3 G's to drive back to back with the 3 different tires, I'm sure I could notice the difference between tires. Otherwise it's like listening to different speakers at various price levels. If you can't do a side by side comparison at the same time, then it can be very difficult for a non-track driver to grasp any differences.

Nankangs are so **** haha. So loud and they are small type tires. They look like garbage in the oem 19's.

I went from nankangs to hankooks. I'm happy with them. I have 2.5° camber all around and I put like 13K miles on them so far.

I can agree with the comment on the nankang nsII's being small for a 245. They're not the most attractive tire on the 19" Rays. I'm going different brand next time for that reason alone. Might try the V12's since everyone seems to be pumping them.
