Which springs have the stiffest rate with smallest drop?

I am looking for the springs that will handle the best while dropping only a marginal amount so I don't have to get the camber kits or anything else.
Please be specific in terms of drop and spring rate. I know the Tein H for the 350z are good but I don't want to buy the other stuff for a little extra drop. Basically I want stiffer springs with a drop less than .5 in for all 4 corners.
Suggestions with specifics would be appreciated.

Thanks,

MB

I think even the H-techs are going to be over a 1/2" drop... since the general rule is to add 1/2" when putting 350Z springs on a G coupe... if you want stiff w/ no drop, I would definitely look into Tein Basics - 510/510 spring rates and height adjustable so you can have the height however you want it...

HTech's are a good bet. However, if you have the money to shell out, go with a coilover suspension. Super stiff, and adjustible height.

Tein spells out actual drop heights in min and max amounts for each model for their coilovers on their web site. www.tein.com/infiniti.html

Basics on a sedan drop a minimum of around 1.5" (confirmed by a sedan owner that actualy has them on his car)

Basics on a coupe drop a minimum of around .7" according to Tein's specs

Only thing that jumps out at me as a "direct hit" would be the Tein flex. But that's not cheap and it use's spring rates you may not be prepaired to stomach.

Tein Flex Twin tube
spring rates in lbs 672/672 stiffer then oem F+114% R+98
Transfers +16% roll stiffness to front

I would call HKS and ask them about their RS coilover, ask them what the min and max drop amount if for the coilover on the 350Z. Whatever amount you get add 1/2" to get a idea of how much they would drop a G coupe.

HKS RS Monotube
spring rates in lbs 448/448 stiffer then oem F+43% R+31%
Transfers 12% roll stiffness to the front

http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=1991
**NOTE** they list a G35 coupe application, but the part number is the same as the 350Z fitment

I wish I could get into business makes a range of springs for these cars that offered little to no lowering and offered slightly to moderately stiffer spring rates. I'd do it as a service more then to make a profit or something. Just to say it, Eibach will make custom springs on request. How much Eibach would charge, I have no idea.

Im my honest opinion, you'll be better off using the factory springs and
getting anti-swaybars to achieve your goal. Less than 0.5drop is only
a difference of you in/out of the car plus you get the added handling
benefit. The car doesn't call out stiffer springs on the stock struts,
you'll want to be in the 350lbs/in range or you'll start getting undulations.
