Quote: i think cost of inner barrel is probably more than weld and barrel straightening. wheel shop is going the heat the barrels of all 4 wheels to check for more cracks. my time and cost i should have bought them new. sucks when the seller denies knowing anything when the wheel shop found glue used on one of the cracks to get a temporary seal.

so like the seller said, "Think twice" about trading because you would have regret it because i know i do right now buying them.
Haha I guess the seller was trying to hide the cracks w/ glue.

When i sold it to him it it did not have that 1 finger crack like that. Period!
Also I wouldn't be running around to meets last time which was pretty far if the wheels had that kind of crack.

if i cracked the wheels it would be my responsibility not the sellers. the only way one could drive on the cracks is if the tire mounter put temporary glue where the bead sits. on principle i paid $200 more than posted, wheels should be without cracks as agreed. there is not 1 crack, but 2.

photos and certain post were deleted as it does not relate to the OP's vsxx posting. bump for a good OP as he offered to asked around for anyone willing to help repair the wheels.
