All-season tire recommendation for 350Z 18's?
I tried searching but couldn't find my answer.
I have a bone-stock 2003 5AT 2WD Sedan with 350Z 18's (the "touring" wheel, the common six-spoke OEM ones). I need a set of tires for them that will actually function in snow, since my winter beater just took a dump on me. What size, brand, and model do you recommend?

I haven't read any reviews on tire sites yet about them, they're pretty new. As for size, 235/45 18 will be the same height as the original sedan tires so your speedometer will read correctly. You could also do a 245/45 18 which will be a bit taller than OEM, but you ~might~ wind up with rubbing on the fenderlips if you're lowered and drive with a few passengers.

Some people will argue that they're spending twice as much on tires by having two sets... to that I say "But your tires last twice as long, since they're only on half the year."
Some people will argue that it's a hassle to swap tires twice a year... to that I say "But you're supposed to rotate your tires anyways, and having a second set of rims makes the swap a 20 minute job."
Be smart, and get snow tires.

I would stick with the 235/45 as the narrower tire will do better in the a/s side of things. Look at Conti DWS as the strongest a/s performer. A bit of sport in that tire also if you want to push them at times. Another popular one is Yoko's Envigor, and Kumho's 4X is doing well but hasn't been through a full winter yet.
