Wheel Offset and Fitment

From my old 2006 G35 Sedan I have a set of Axis Milanos with the following specs: + 19x8.5 et35 fronts and 19x9.5 et45 rears mounted on Toyo T1R 245/40/19 Front and 275/35/19 rears. I recently sold my sedan and got a 2005 G35 coupe and while I know these sat flush on my sedan so I would think that A. they either wouldnt fit or B. would need some sort of spacer to fit on my new coupe. Can anybody help my out here on getting these to fit properly on my 2005 g35 Coupe? Will they stick out too much and therefore I should just sell them, or will they be set in too much and I just need a spacer to get them flush?

Thanks in advance, I currently have a stock set up, but will be lowering my car on Z revised springs in the near future.

So after doing a little more research the offset on these are horrible. I would love to keep them tho as it will be cost effective for me to try to make these work over selling them and buying something different.

That said, I was wondering, does a 20mm spacer technically bring the offset from +40 to +20? And +20 is a reasonable range for the coupe yeah? Are there any negatives to running a 19' wheel on 20mm spacers?

Thanks!

19x8.5 et35 20mm spacer would bring the wheel to 19x8.5 et15 would look ok but not flush at all

What offset number would that wheel be flush? A lot closer to 0? The biggest spacer available is 25mm yeah?

I think you can get bigger spacers but I would just get new wheels and not risk using spacers I can still tuck my wheels and they are 19x9 et15 front and 19x10 et15 rear and yes my rears are rolled. It all depends on the width of your wheels and the offset to determine flushness

Spacers come in a variety of sizes, and you can get larger than 25mm if you wanted. If you were to space out the wheels you have now, just to get to our 9.5/11 stagger's outer position you're looking at a 25mm spacer up front and a 39mm in the rear!

Ok I have a question about fitment. I am getting some wheels.

I have an 03 sedan. Lowered 2.0" all the way around.
I was to get some wheels here are the specs.

19x8.5 R Tire: 235/40/19
19x9.5 R Tire:255/40/19

Any special mods to the fenders, camber etc?

I dont want my car too low. I like it to look lowered, but dont want the headache of scrapping.

I will post up picks before and after when im done.

Thanks in advance. This is my first post haha.

Need some offset numbers on those wheels to really help you out.

If you're gonna stick with that 2" drop, your gonna need a rear camber kit/toe bolts to get the alignment back into spec. And its always a good idea to roll your fenders. With those tire sizes, I'm guessing you don't wanna stretch tires either so your gonna have some meaty fitment going on.

My fault. The offsets are +35 in the front and +40 in the rear. The meaty I dont mind so much. I just dont like rolling on thin tires cause of pot holes. Thanks for the reply though!

Sorry OP, totally forgot about your question and just answered the other guy haha. But on a 8.5 wheel, depending how low, how much camber your willing to run and what size tires you run, anywhere from +12ish to -10ish could be flush. There's alot of factors to consider.

With those offsets your wheels will be sunken in a little. A small spacer would help to get them up against the fenders if that's what you're aiming for.

Yeah I know there are a lot of moving peices because I want to lower my car as well. Id rather not run much camber if possible to save my tires. At the end of the day, as much as I like these wheels (and they are discontinued, dammit!) I dont think i want to run big spacers given the whole potentially dying thing because they fail. Just not worth it?
