Difference b/w front & rear OEM 18" wheels?

I was wondering if there is a difference between the front and rear 18" wheels for the Coupe? I was told that the front wheels are stamped "front" on the inside spoke so I'm just wondering why they would designate the wheels front and rear if they are the same. Another question. Is it OK tio mount a rear 18" OEM wheel on the front with the 225/40/18 tires? Thanks in advance.

I think the hub was different on the front. There should be more clearance at the
center of the front wheel. The rear tires are 245/45/18. You can mount the rear
tires on your front wheels, but that would revese the stagger you have. Why would
you want to do that?

The hubs are actually the same size. The only difference, is that the front rim, has a little space in it, to make room for the peg mounted on the front rotor. It's only purpose is to prevent the average joe, from accidently putting their 245/45-18 tires on the front. But yeah, you can mount 225/45-18 on the "rear" rim, and put it up front, so long as you remove that peg. I've seen other people do it, when they curbed their front rim, and bought a "rear" rim on ebay or something.

Thanks for the advice. So, there is a peg mounted on the rotor? OK, should be pretty easy to remove. Thanks again.
