How many "Holes" on these 3 piece rims?

I'm going crazy or I'm really stupid. I'm looking for replacement barrels, and when they say "40" hole is it 40 rivets? So if I want to replace this, this is a "20" hole? If that's true will a 40 hole fit this 20 hole or do I need to buy 20 hole barrels? Googling this does not help me at all so any help is appreciated! Killing myself here looking for some replacement lips.

These are not going to be easy lips to find.

a 40 hole lip will not fit this wheel as the PCD is totally different.

And as I said before you're not going to be able to fit these with the desired lip sizes.

Well I unbolted the rim and counted the rivets from behind and it was a 40 hold. What do you mean by pcd?

PCd is the bolt pattern. Distance from each bolt.

Just like the G35 uses a 5x114.3 and a Jetta uses a 5x100.

There are no rivets in those wheels, they are nuts and bolts. What has 40 holes? Please post some photos.

I was always under the impression that the circled parts were rivets. There are 20 visible on the face, but if you flip the tire around, sorry no pics of that at the amount, there are 40 little holes or bolts or rivets all togather. I thought when you buy a "40" hole barrel, that you can just slap that face onto the other barrel. And he was talking about the GS at the time because I showed him pictures of the rims on the original owners car, a Lexus. Haha sorry man for the confusion, and thanks for clarifying stuff. You might have saved me over 1000 dollars.

edit: Let me clarify why the circled part is showing no holes. If you flip it around there are holes there to screw whatever in. The one hole in between the spokes are purely cosmetic.

You said you have these wheel a part right now or?

I'm starting to lean towards the fact that these are maybe a welded wheel with a drop in face.

If you haven't done this kind of thing before you're better off taking them to a shop and having them do the work and guaranteeing the specs for you.

I was thinking about just taking it to a shop so I know I wont be messing up but I'm also trying to understand wheel barrel sizes to get the right size and fitment to try and order the parts myself and do it at a shop around my area. I've called a bunch of places in NorCal and no one does this except memory fab, which is quoting me a super steep price for only 2 rims. My other choice was to ship them out to SoCal, but I'm still leaning towards that.

No the wheels are all together right now. I just jacked my car up to look at the backside.

Heres a close up of the front.

Now an inside shot from the back. Looks like a normal 40 hole barrel that other companys manufacture.

These are 3 piece right and not welded? I'm getting super confused right now haha, but understanding barrel sizes a little more.

Those look to be three piece. I believe a lot of new lips come as blanks basically and can be drilled to however many holes the faces require, unless you plan on reusing lips and barrels that are from another set of wheels.

They definitely do look 3 piece, but it's odd that they have hidden hardware up front.

Take it to some pros as you're going to have a hell of a time sealing the lip to barrel for the first time.
