VMR 710's - Hyper Silver + black 35 coupe
After months of debating (between TSW nurburgring and Avant Garde 310’s) I saw that VMR now offered the 710’s in the Nissan bolt pattern. I have a few friends who run VMR wheels and they love them – so I thought I would give them a try……
The TSW’s were NOT aggressive at all – while the Avant Garde’s were TOO aggressive… judging by the pics- I figured the VMR’s would be the perfect medium.
Wheels arrived about a month ago – weather has been so un predictable, it was hard to get some good pics … but the weather cleared up for a little (you can see the car is dirty in the pics from rain), got some pics and thought I would share with you guys.
I am REALLY impressed by the finish on these wheels! They look immaculate! The concavity is perfect! They accept TPMS, and the off set is the perfect amount of poke (front and rear).
The wheels are 19X9.5 front 19X11 rear – no spacers and the car is on the stock sport suspension.(not lowered or anything)
First time with a set of VMR wheels – but so far, so good. I actually took a really bad pot hole @ about 50 mph (city bus apparently couldn’t see me and was coming over in my lane… had to swerve out… ) – hit the pot hole, checked the wheel, wheel is perfect, no dent – wobble – nothing – so they seem to be very tough.
Would deff recommend these! And oh yeah, ordering process was smooth – Kevin @ VMR had all the info I needed (if the off set would work – size hub centric rings I would need, etc). Only issue (which really isn’t an issue) is the container with the wheels was delayed about a 1.5 weeks, but… I believe I ordered the first set of wheels in this bolt pattern, so I wasn’t too concerned with a delayed container.
I know the car is a little dirty, but the focus are the wheels – so be easy on me

G.Nasty- love the rims! They look really nice on your coupe.
I have the same questions as cakestar. Perhaps you could post up the weights in this post?
If not, could you please PM me the weights of the 19x8.5, 9.5 & 10" rims? Are they forged and what is the price for each of the widths listed above shipped to MD, 21162. I have a 2005 Sedan if it matters.
Thanks. -T

not sure if you got an answer to your questions regarding the weights or not - but i am running the 19 9.5 F 11 R set-up and those weights are this is the info i have:
The 19x9.5s and 19x10s weigh about 27 pounds per wheel, and 19x11s weigh about 29 pounds per wheel.
they are same weights as the Avant garde M310's i believe. (very similar Cast wheel)
