You think all brands start off as High end BBS or Volks?
They have to start somewhere.
Varresteon does make a quality wheel, at a discount price. Depending on what your budget is like, they are great for DD or even light track use.
However if you are going to be seeing the track more often then not, I would suggest buying something a little more lightweight.

Of course I thought of work wheels but ran into these online, the designs look good but it will be a daily driver use, nothing like track or show, but I did want a nice wheel, im currently upgrading my suspension to bc coils, and saw these mesh wheels , and the price did draw me to them , it was either that , go for a stagger set up or go for dome used oem 19's

To actually answer your ques, yes I love my Varrstoens.
I could have afforded 3k+ dollar wheels, but I couldn't justify the cost. For myself atleast.
There are people that love and hate these wheels for many diff reasons.
I think the build quality is great on these.
Like everything I buy for my car I did months of research on these wheels and found no evidence that they are cheap or of poor build quality.
Decide for yourself buy searching Varrstoen on this site & my350z. Here are a couple for u to check out.
Hope this helps, gl.

Not everyone can justify spending $1000+ a rim for something that is going to get scuffed, curbed or stolen.
There is nothing wrong with Varr's, they might be ripped for making replicas, but you got to start somewhere, Im sure in a few years after making money, they will start with their own R&D and eventually a few years after that, put out some rims that are their own, and not a replica.... its not like their work is ****.
and using the water/brake fluid reference doesnt even come close to equating reps vs original.
Edit: After looking at your profile 4DGS, I can understand why someone like YOU do not like Replica rims. You have put alot of money into your car for the show scene and do not want to cheap out, and thats understandable, you have a beautiful car.
But someone who wants to have a rim that looks "cool" and doesnt cost a fortune, the Varr's are perfect.
4DGS, is your car painted? or wrapped? and where are ya from?

No your right, BBS started out making Plastic aftermarket body part replacements.
Not everyone can justify spending $1000+ a rim for something that is going to get scuffed, curbed or stolen.
Shouldn't be buying aftermarket wheels if you ever think you might curb them, and lock those bitches up! And I'm not saying you need to spend 5k on wheels to have a nice set up, I just don't think you should pretend to be something you are not and run a replica wheel. There are tonnes of oringal designs out there in the same price range. fact is people love TE37s, CE28s and BBS Lms so they buy the inferior product and more than 50% of those owners will tell you they are legit....

This is doubtful, Look at companies like Rota or Linea Corsa. They started making reps, they still make reps and they are always going to be biting the heels of the big players in the wheel game. I don't see varrstoen being innovative in any way unlike companies like Rotiform...

In one way it does, safety. Varrstoens do have a little bit of a past behind them where their wheels explode. They deny it and say they aren't their wheels... since varrstoen won't speak out about it some of choose too.
IMO, running a wheel that has a structural flaw in it's integrity is as good as rolling around with any kind of problem prone car part.

Thank you, but it's not about what I put on my car, like I said I'm not just trying to preach expensive wheels I just don't like stealing and ripping designs is not different.
Oh and I don't show my car, it's never been entered in a contest. It does attend the shows but does not compete, I've always modded for me.

Yes I agree 100% but guys going around saying Varrstoens are equal (or better in some crazy peoples minds) because they are less money is completely out to lunch and stupid as you can not compare a cheap chinese/taiwan/where ever the hell they're made cast wheel to a top of the line forged lightweight wheel. It's been proven many times that varrstoens are decent for the money, but I've seen more shattered Varrstoens than I have any other rep wheel (aside from rota) So I am talking from a quality stand point and not just an opinionated ***

Nice, Im in Ottawa, Im doing a Track days in Shannonville and Cayuga this summer with my Ariel Atom, You should come out.
I agree with you on many points, I run GTC01's and oz superleggera 3 peice's for track tires, and either my stock rims or Rota P45R's in the summer for DD.
I would love to lock them, but I have yet to lock a tire and NOT lose the lock nut.
