Not bad - cheap, good tread life rating, decent handling / really good handling for the price. But they are loud and uncomfortable. They aren't bad in the rain as well, but they are loud.

 

People are reporting them as quiet? 8.2 rating

Reason for a/s in Texas. Treadwear ratings of 400+ vs 200 or less

I bought these in the 20" size and are just waiting for them to be delivered.

 

I paid $950 installed Canadian tire had a sale 25% off each tire I saved over $550 as for being load I strongly disagree on rough roads in Toronto they are amazingly quiet compared to the hankook v12 I had and 255/40/19 look so fat in the rear love the look search general gMax G35 on google and u will find many happy g owners that got them with a tread wear of 480 and they have quiet ride technology that does what it's suppose to do keep the ride quiet and very smooth

 

You are going to be very happy with your gMax tires

 

I hope so. I'm not that concerne about the snow grip as I'll run blizzaks or similar on my stock 18s but it would be good if they got me home if I get caught in it. I know a/s tires won't grip as well as summers ( I've run re050s, pilot summer and pilot a/s) but I can't be buying tires almost every 2 years.

 

Hey Jeff it rained the day after I put them on and I have never felt as confident with any tire before as for making it home I think you'll be fine grip is as good as any high performce summer tire unless we're talking about re11 Bridgestone but if your comparing them to the hankook v12 or Bridgestone re050 I've had both these gMax are just as good and better because of the tread wear and way more comfortable and yes they are quiet

I think there's a pretty decent all-season tire. My customers that have purchased these with their wheels have been pleased with them.

 

These aren't horrible for the price, but nowhere near quiet. Huge difference between these on the IS and the RE760 on the G. They're even louder than the RE070 on my buddy's GTR.

But Discount Tire had a $100 rebate offer if you bought 4 tires. So I got 275-30-20 and 255-35-20s for $800 total. That offer ended May 13th so I jumped on that deal.
