Hey Guys,

I need to replace all four tires on the 2005 I bought a few months ago. The current tires are as follows:

Front: 225/40/19
Rear: 245/40/19

My question: How wide of a tire can I go with on my G35 without having to perform modifications or be concerned with clearance,etc.

I've seen people run 245/40/19 front and 275/40/19 rear on the oem 19" rays and it was fine.

Not to mention the guy you bought the car off put the wrong size tires on it.

And don't run 275s, when you use the search you're find out why.

and Leanlikeacello. 275/40 is an inch bigger than stock. Thanks for your tips!

 

Not a whole lot you can do with the oem 8.5" rear wheels.

Wouldn't try going much wider than what you've got.
