How wide can I go

I am asking what is the widest tire in 19" or 20" rims can I fit

I have a 05 coupe with sport suspension and looking to go wider
I now run 245 35 19 front and 275 35 19 rear still not wide enough for
me I am running a vortex super charger with nearly 400 rwhp

Just love the look of more meat on the rear

My question is has anyone ran 315 30 20 on the rear or wider and what was needed
to fit them?? I will need to roll the fenders if needed but asking for advice to those who
been down this rabbit hole before

315/30/20 is a big tire...

I think you'll need to do more than just a fender roll haha.

Looking at getting a wider tire for traction? If so why don't you run a smaller wheel like a 15 with more sidewall then run slicks or drag radials at the track? I'm running the same tires you have with a +12 offset and they are plenty wide for me I even had to flare the rear fenders.

Because he probably doesn't want his car to look like a bag of ****.

OP, whats your budget? You're going to need new wheels if you want to run that size of tire. You can fit 305s or even 315s on there pretty easily just need to know what you're doing. However the wheels will need to be a suitable width because ramming a 315 onto a wheel made for a 275 is also going to hinder your performance.

Also big thing in this, what kind of tires are you running? 400hp isn't astronomical numbers but it will definitely break shitty tires loose instantly. You may be better off just going to a 285 R compound like Potenza RE11s, Nitto NT05 or michelin pilot sport cups.

Thanks this is what i am asking for I know for sure I need wider rims as the 275s were at the limit for the stock rays. so that is why I was asking for the right offset so I will not need to mess with spacers and the traction is not my concern. It is for the look and the 400 hp is for the fun and putting tires that size with out the hp to power them up is not my style..

I was hoping to find someone who had gone this route before...

I guess when I find out I will post the answer...

Thanks for any help

Well whats your budget? To get into custom wide wheels you're going to need at least $2500-3k

Aiming for something like 19x10 +15 with a 265/35 and 19x11.5 +20 with 305/30 would fit with a very slight pull (pretty much not noticeable)

Check out the marketplace on here and my350z lots of wide set ups sell and usually come with close to the tire sizes you'll want.

But for the ultimate amount of performance, run 18s.
