I need your opinion about wheel selection please!

Hey all I just got an 06 g35 coupe 6mt. I am pretty set on getting a set of varrstoen 1.1.1 wheels 9.5F +22 and 10.5R +22 but as far as diameter goes Im stuck and I need your help.

This is my dilemna, this is my DD and I will track it on a semi regular basis so I want function as much as I want form and I think 18s would be better because they weigh a lot less, but 19s look better obviously. Im conflicted because I dont want to get 18s then be unhappy because they look small, but then get 19s because my car is too slow lol.

My question to you is would these 18s look too small on a g coupe? Or are there other BBS LM reps out there with somewhat similar specs that weigh less?

I wouldn't track Varrstoens, especially not the LM rep as they have a history to explode...

18s will be better for the track (and cheaper on tires) but as you said, won't look good.

Have you considered Enkei RPF1s? They weigh probably 10lbs less than Varrstoens and still come in aggressive sizing to fit the G coupe.

I havent heard of the LM's breaking but thats not good...lol

I actually have considered the rpf1's because of their price and very light weight, but for some reason I LOVE wheels with a lip on G's. But you're right, 18 inch rpf1's would only weight like 19-20 as opposed to 28-30 of the varrstoens.....

In all honesty, I say buy the RPF1s (or any other RP enkei wheel) and run them for the time being while saving up for a nice set of daily wheels. Then keep the RPFs as your dedicated track wheels then you can run R compound tires without killing yourself in the rain! And have two sets of sweet wheels.

Also, check out zilvia for 18" wheel ready for the track. RPFs go for $1500 with tires on there sometimes.
