help! confused on what rim sizes/tires to get on my g35 coupe

So I am looking to get new rims on my 04 g35 coupe (6mt, brembo brakes), like within the week, burning up my winter tires currently, and I am very confused on what rim size and tire I can get. Someone told me to get 19 inch rims so that I don't have to do any suspension mods, then today I was told by a rim dealer that my car can handle the 20inch rims without any suspension mods. So if anyone wants to chime in with their setup and whether or not they rub or need mods if they are the 20's that would be appreciated!! Thanks.
(I am currently looking at the 19 inch vossen vvs-cv1, but the guy told me they will not clear the brembos in the back, he was the one that said to go with a 20inch rim that would clear the brembo.)

I assume he told you to go with the 20s because vossens 20" come in wider wheels, but I'm not familiar with their offsets.
I'm not sure if the 19s have issues clearing brembos.
Are you looking to lower your car ever?
Whether you go 18, 19 or 20" u shouldn't have to do any suspension mods unless you WANT to lower your car.
Just remember the ride quality suffers more with running 20" wheels, just a rougher ride but some people don't mind it.

i drive like 80-100 miles a day, so i definitely want to maintain a comfortable ride, what would happen if i kept the same profile tire as is on my 18inch rim on a 20inch rim, asides from looking a bit off, anyone ever do that ?

Your speedometer will be out to lunch and your car will look like ****.

19s are the best option. The guy you have been talking doesn't know what he is talking about if he is saying that the 19" vossens don't clear brembos because of diameter...

Personally I'd steer clear of vossen, but that's just me.

The car is going to looks kinda silly without suspension mods either way but if you don't mind then that's fine.

Look for specs about 19x9.5 19x10.5 +22 to +30 The run 255/35 and 275/35 tires.

If you drive quite a bit and want a nice smooth ride, 19s would probably be better.

My vote for a dd car would be 19's as well. 20's will be rough riding, more potential for damage, possible fitment issues, etc.
