245's in the front?

Hey guys,
Its time for me to change my balding tires. I was thinking. Can I run 245's all around on the G35 coupe 6MT ?

anybody know what the reasonwas for infiniti putting 225's in the front?

You could run 245/40-18 front and 245/45-18 rear.

If you're running 19s, the proper size for the front would be 245/35-19

It really all depends on the size of your rims. I don't see how changing the profile in the rear will do much. You want to change the width in the rear since its RWD. If you have the right sized rims, I would go 245's in the front and maybe 275's in the rear?

Why not tell use what size rims you have and we can better help you choose a tire size from there.

245/40 front and 245/45 or 255/45 rear will help reduce understeer and maintain the stagger. It's a good move. also 245/40/18s are much easier to find than 225/45/18s. This assumes stock 18" wheels.

Having 245x40 upfront and 245x45 outback does/did work very well for me. The car was more neutral. Where before I would dive into a corner the front would slide a bit, after the change, the front would bite right in. The downside is that the rear could, at times, break loose. Oh the fun! :D
