Matte black TE37, repaint dish/lip to gloss black?

Just purchased a set of TE37 and they are in pretty bad condition, curb rash on every wheel and light scratches on the lip/dish area. Other than that, face is in perfect condition.

I like the matte black face look.

Since I am going to repaint the lip/dish area, do you guys think it would look nice if I painted the lip glossy black?

Tried googling for the past week and couldn't find anything on matte black face and glossy black lip.

Never seen that done on a one piece wheel.

Just make sure it's masked well, if there is any bleed it will look terrible.

+1

It could look kind of interesting. Their anodized bronze is kind of this way with a more matte finish on the face and slightly glossier finish on the lip of the wheel. Either way, prep prep prep!
