wheel spacer problem
Hey guys, i bought hubcentric wheel spacers off ebay about 3weeks ago (15mm/20mm) and when I installed them they were riding fine with no issue for the first two weeks. Then, while i was driving one day the passenger side front wheel felt like it was wobbling. It wobbles everytime i hit a bump in the road and it would continue to wobble after that..drove back home to check them out and the lug nuts were tight and i re-torqued the wheel spacer. Took it for a ride and it was fine for about 2days and now im having the same problem again. Im wondering if it could be a alignment issue because my car is lowered on eibach springs(1" drop) or should i buy a new set of brand name quality spacers? Help.!?

Did you get new lug nuts with the spacers. When you install spacers there are special lug nuts you have to use or you will have the problem that your having. I forgot the name of the lug nuts but what they do is thread in between the spacer so you get enough locking thread on the studs so the wheel will not come off you should be able to turn the lug nuts at least four complete revolutions when you tighten them on if not the lugs can back off and you could loose a wheel.

No alignment would not cause your wheel lug nuts to come loose make sure that your lugs nuts are making at least four complete revolutions when you tighten them up if not you need some different lug nuts you can go to a rim shop they should be able to help you out, or point you in the right direction.
