Method to go from Polished Lip/Machine Silver Finish to Black - Works T1S
So as the title says, I've got Works T1S wheels and they have the polished lip with the machine silver center(I think it's called lightning silver?). After seeing others with black wheels on their DG coupes, I've been wanting to go in that direction.
Would the best method be to just sell my set and buy a set in black? Or would it be any smarter/easier/cheaper to get mine worked on to be black. If so, what method is best? I know there is powdercoating, annodizing, and painting methods, but I wasn't sure what the best route to go with would be for wheels as nice as these.
Financially, I would assume that it would be cheaper for me to keep my current wheels and have them done rather than selling them and buying another set, unless I bought used wheels.
edit: I'm not sure if I'm explaining this as well as I could... basically I want to go from this to this.

If you want to refinish them you can definitely do so. Those look like a two piece welded design, so I don't think you'll be able to tear them down to refinish the lips and faces very easily. If you want to powder coat the whole wheel that is an option. If you want to have the lips glossy but the faces matte, I would probably opt for a custom paint job over powder coating.

I definitely don't want to plasti-dip them, I'm looking for a durable and permanent solution. Also, I want the entire wheel to be black, lip included. By the way it sounds, I'll probably just go with the powdercoat method VMR mentioned. I'm not looking for a different finish on any part of the wheel, I just want them to be black. I just wasn't sure if anyone had anodized their wheels or how that process would go about being done(I know the process of anodizing, but not the prep work/need to disassemble).
