The right lug nuts??

YES I TRIED SEARCHING FIRST, no I didn't find exactly what I needed. LOL

I recently bought a set of 19" Racing Hart J8 SBC (Super Black Coating - although they l0ok more chrome than black chrome depending on how the light hits it). Anyway, I am trying to find the right lugs as the ones that came with the wheels seem cheesy and I know I won't be able to install/remove them without scratching the wheel. Some say open ended, some say closed, some say spline lock, others say no.

Here are my concerns:

1. Must have a lock
2. Must be able to remove/install without scratching rim.
3. I would prefer a lighter weight lug, but not mandatory

Any suggestions? Supposedly Gorilla locks has a new product out that isn't listed on their website, but to me it sounded like a spline drive. Do the spline drives offer you more clearence in the lug hole?

Your help is appreciated!!! Thanks!

i had those wheels but gunmetal

get MCgard spline drive (and lock)

its a set of 16splines and 4 locks if i were u get anodized black... if ur careful they'll stay black and not "chip" looks pimp... and the lil "dishes" should still fit..depending on ur offsets

worst case order some .muteki open ended black lugs

www.evasivemotorsports.com

their short ur studs will show.. but their tiny/light/caps will DEFF fit

Yo Drew...

Just get the whole Splinedrive installation kit with the wheel locks! You save much more that way... that's how they get ya. I'm actually thinking of getting the spline drive lug nuts as well seeing as I put a couple of tiny knicks on my J5's last time I took them off...

I think the kit costs $70 or so... considering just 4 wheel locks costs $35. The spline drive will surely have more clearance than those you got with it.
