Good deal for bent wheels?

I found these on craigslist http://tulsa.craigslist.org/pts/3308999264.html
I don't know much about wheels but for $250 is it a good deal? Anyone know how easy it is to get it fixed and how much it costs? Also I could try to talk him down to $200 or so for them

thanks in advance!

Use those pictures and take it to a local wheel shop and see if they can give you a rough estimate on how much it would cost to get them back to a factory finish. Otherwise it is just a shot in the dark.

It's impossible to say how much work would be necessary to repair them based on pictures alone. Some bends are easily fixable, and others which you might not even see, are impossible to fix. I had a set of wheels that I purchased from someone in the past, and it turned out one of the wheels was tweaked. Couldn't visually see it but the face of the wheel was messed up or something, so the offset would change. I was able to have it somewhat repaired but even then it never completely fixed the wheel.

You may find yourself paying more to fix them then they are worth! If it were me, speaking from experience, try to meet up at a wheel place that has Hunter equipment, and if the runout looks decent it might be worth it. That's to say, the bends are not too bad.

keep looking, if you're patient you can get them for that price in good condition. I picked up a set of 4 WITH tires for $500...

I work in a body shop and when we need to get repair work on wheel it $100 per wheel. That covers scuff marks and refinishing.

if the fronts are bent, i'd just give him $100 for the rears; then i'd get a set of 4 or get another set of rears and run a squared setup!
