Racing Hart wheels

Looking at the GT5 in an 18x8 for my sedan. What is the general opinion of these wheels? Are they light weight? What backspacings are they available in? Anybody know where to get them at a good price? Also looking at going with a 245/40/18 size tire since the 235/45/18 is an odd size and hence very expensive. Any good recommendations on the 245/40/18?

Thanks!

the rim is cast. kind of light for an 18". hit a nice pothole and it will hurt (but all rims have a certain effect!).

as for tires, i'd recommend the Toyo T1s' because they're light, and the handling is great. the performance is both great wet/dry. another tire would be Falken. either the Falken GRB-FK451's, or the ST-115's. the GRB's are great as well. the ST's, are very nice except the sidewall tends to flex quite a bit under slight hard cornering. the Falken's are heavier than the Toyo's too. Bridgestone SO3's are great too, but pricey! Of all of these choices, the lightest would be the Toyo's, then the SO3's, then the Falken's. the quietest would be the Falken ST-115's. I've used all of these tires before and I like them all!

edgeracing has these tires for pretty geez prices.

Cool, thanks for the tire info. Are the rims really that bad? I live in Florida, so they aren't a lot of potholes (at least here in Tampa). I pretty much just drive back and forth to work and around on the weekends.

Talking I have them

hey aross i have these wheels first off.........1. They are RH Evolution, and not Racing Hart. 2. I live in Florida and havent had any problems yet. Love the wheels and i have them rapped in Toyo T1's. Tires are amazing grip on everything disregarding the speed. To see some pictures check out photo gallery. click this
