I have just purchased a 2005 g35 coupe with sport suspension and was wondering if i could install the 350z h-tech springs. Or do i have to go with a full coilover set-up, my final question is how long will the stock shocks hold out till they blow. I also have an e36 m3 with koni shocks and h&r springs, i love the way it feels but it's really rough and i don't want my g to feel that way. Please help a new owner out.

If you lower this car you will need camber arms, even w. coilovers. I also have an '05 w. sport suspension and I love the controlled ride. I plan on leaving it alone for now until a good quality control arm is available.

thank you for the imformation. But doesn't it feel kinda high, the g rides more like my lux than a sports car.

I think the driver's seat is too high. But a 1-2" drop is not going to look too bad either.

Do a search on the seat height adjustment. You can lower the stock seat by almost 1" pretty easily DIY.

it's not just the seating but the overall feel of the car, with the e36 m3 i feel as if i'm really driving (so3's and ssr comp c's) in comparison to the g which feels like a clk.
