Fender roller

Has anyone bought an item call a fender roller, I see one on www.Eastwood.com & would like to know if they work? I want to roll my fenders but don't want chip or bow fender. Do you think I would be better off going to a body shop to have it done?
Thank you for any input.

For $250 bucks. I'd check a body shop & see what they'll charge.

Get a solid or hollow Pipe and have your friend drive your car super slow. Put the pipe in a the back of the wheel and let your tire catch the pipe. It will follow the contour of your fender and exit out the back.

Not too sure what this will do to the paint but you will end up with rolled fenders. To be honest with you anything you do will more than likely chip the paint. Save your money and get the pipe.

***FACT***
In 1969-1971 Plymouth was selling the Cuda with the Hemi Engines. Because of the mammoth size and weight of these engine and the front end sat lower then other Cuda's. With the 15" Ralley Wheels on the car the fenders would rub. So the did exactly what I told you above. Worked for them should work for you. I have 4 pairs of Fenders with the roll on the. Pretty cool eh?
