Anyone running Toyo TPT 235/50/17 ? I'm looking for new tires? Any input would be great.

I've run the Toyo Proxy TPT on my wife's TL. Great tire. Handled the recent snow we got here pretty well too. Depending on how much performance you want, you may want to consider the Toyo Proxy 4, which is there UltraHighPerformance All Season. The TPT is their Performance All Season.

I've also run Yokohama AVS db tires. I was shocked I got 40,000 miles out of those w-rated rubber, especially since I'm a pretty aggressive driver. (Though I rotated religeously). They were super quiet, and handled really great. I even drove them through 8" of snow without any problems. Even through the hill by my house.

I replaced those Yokos with Continental ContiExtremeContact. Also a very good tire. Rated much better in the snow than the yokos. I couldn't get them to slip in the recent snow fall we got, granted it was only about 3 inches or so. I haven't had any flatspotting with these, contrary to what others have seemed to said. I even left the car outside in the 20 degree weather for a week. I replaced the Yokos because at 40,000 miles, they started hydroplaning pretty bad. But I figured 40,000 miles was pretty good, so it didn't bother me. They seemed to wear on the inner edge faster than the rest of the tire, but I didn't notice that until > 30,000 miles. It wasn't terrible, as after 40,000 miles, it was just barely to the wear indicator on the inner edge.

I wanted to get the Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S, but they were on backorder, so I got the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season for my G35. So far they are awesome. Haven't driven them in the snow yet tho... But they seem pretty sure footed in the cold weather.

Holy ****! Bloke actually had a car question. I think I'm gonna faint. You actually waited a full eight hours before you posted a smart @$$ remark when no one answered, I'm impressed.

I run the Toyo Proxes4 and love them they are far better than the Pilot Sport A/Ss. They have not seen snow but nasty a$$ mud and did great. Got some shocked looks from some as I pulled on though since I wasn't in my Titan I guess they though I wouldn't make it. Toyos are great I am extremely impressed.

I went with Toyo GARIT HT - High Performance Winter Radials this year.
They are fantastic in the snow.
They are dedicated snows, not an all season.

I love Toyo tires, I just ordered the new T1-R for summer & can't wait.
These are the new replacement for the T1-S

What size are you running and is it on a stock 17 sedan rim?
