Choosing a G

Hey so I've been floating around these forums for a bit now..
I'm sick of drooling on my keyboard and I'm ready to get my own!
I currently live in Colorado and have a FWD Volvo s60 lol.
Since I live in Colorado I've been quite worried about jumping in to a G because the only AWD is the G35X I believe.. Which I would be fine with it, just probably not as happy as a coupe.
Is there things I can do to ensure the car drives better in the snow even though it would be RWD?
Would snow tires help a noticeable amount?
Thanks everyone

If it is going to be your daily driver, get a X. Besides that when its snows your going to be stuck like chuck.

Plenty of people manage driving their g35's during the winter with snow tires and smart caution. Although I think a decent amount opt to have their g35's put away during winter and just buy a cheap beater that can more easily deal with the winter weather.
