How much to paint wheels??

I picked up a set of 350z wheels that i want to mount some winter tires on. Unfortunately, the previous owner decided to paint them black. Well lets just say his job doesn't meet my standards of perfection. I want to paint them a gunmetal color.

Does anyone know around what a body shop would charge me to paint them? Any members in saint louis area have a recommendation on a shop?

If you can powdercoating will last and hold up better then paint. Have you thought about that?

You'll have to powdercoat them. But, I would recommend stripping and sanding them first yourself. IT'll save you a good solid amount of dollars.

Powedercoating wheels can run you roughly $100 a wheel depending on how involved the job is. I wouldn't do any of that crap for some winter wheels, but, if you ballin' outta control, have at it. lol

I thought that the wheels were painted from the factory? Is there a reason you couldn't just paint them?

friend of mine plastidipped his wheels on his altima coupe. they came out fine. can't see any road rash or blemishes. can't even tell their plastidipped unless your real close, like inches away. he's had em for about two months and they've held up fine.
