Looking for input on tire width for 20" Work VS-XX

Hey guys,

I have a set of Work VS-XX on my 2004 G35 6MT Coupe. Here are the wheel sizes:
20x9.5 +24 (Front)
20x10.5 +18 (Rear)

I currently have Hankook Evo V12 Ventus which need replacing. Here are the tire sizes I'm currently running:
255/30/20 (Front)
285/30/20 (Rear)

I'm having a hard time remembering why I decided on the widths I currently have. I think the rep at Work suggested I run 275 on the rears, but I ended up going with a 285. And I previously had 245s on a 19x9 wheel, so I decided on a 255 width for the front since this is a 9.5. I don't track anymore, but that's not to say I'm not going to...who knows? But right now this is just street driving, and it's kept in the garage during the winter.

Now that these are being replaced, I'm looking at the Michelin Pilot Super Sports, but they apparently don't come in a 255 size. That means I either have to go with a 245 on the fronts, or bump up to a 275. My concern is that the 245 is going to be stretched too much, which I do not like the look of, and the 275s are going to be too wide and/or rub on the inside. Currently if I have the wheel turned all the way to one side when I back into my driveway it hear a creak like it's hitting the inner fenderwell...I never took that close of a look to verify. But it only happens when fully turned, so it rarely happens.

I've attached a pic of the front and rear so you can see how much the rim is sticking out right now. It's pretty close to flush on the outside, and sticks out a bit on the inside (Normal?). Based on these pics I think the 245 is going to be too narrow, but it's either that or bump up to a 275.

I really like the look of the fitment of the tires on there right now. So the question is will a 245/275 setup be good with these tires on these rims? Or will it be too stretched? If this becomes too problematic I may just end up going with another set of Hankooks, but I was really interested in trying out the Super Sports.

Thanks in advance for any feedback you might have. I'm looking to make a purchase this week.

245/35/20 and 275/30/20 is the most common for a 1" stagger. They will have minor stretch in your widths.
