Correct Lug Nuts for OEM 370z Rays

Fellow G35drivers,

I have been lurking on these forums since early summer and have found them to be quite helpful. This will be my first post on these boards, so please bear with me.

I purchased oem 370z Rays sport wheels which I would like to have mounted on my g35.To accommodate the greater wheel widths, I also got ARP extended studs and 15mm spacers all round.

My question is thus: Will open headed tuner style lug nuts or oem 370z shank style lug nuts fit my wheel, stud, and spacer choice?

I have been advised to have open head universal lug nuts installed to fit the extended stud length and allow for higher torqueing. However, my research on 370z forums has led me to believe that only the oem shank style lug nuts will fit the factory 370z Rays sport wheels.

I would appreciate any helpful comments on the matter, and noticed that several other forum members have successfully installed these wheels. Thank you

I would stick with OEM but not sure you need to. If you do let me know, I have a set that I'll get to you for a lot less than Z1 is asking. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

Do not use acorn style lug nuts on 370Z rims. You need to use the oem mag shank style from 370z rims.

The oem shank style lug nuts will not fit my extended studs since they have closed heads. An open head, 12X1.25 pitch, shank style lug nut simply does not exist, so far as my research has led me to believe. The closest example I can find is from Summit Racing: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-7540060. I've seen forum members with these wheels on their cars, so a way of mounting them correctly must exist.
