Volk SF Challenge in 18' Anyone?

I finally made up my mind on my rims. I decided I'm going to be going with 18x8 and 18x9 SF Challenges when the spring rolls around. Before anyone comments and tells me the lip is gonna suck, well I live in New England and had 19's with a lip on my previous car (for a short time). Big lips here = bent lips so I'm trying to compromise. I plan to use my stock tires for this setup (smaller tires is easier to avoid and dodge holes in roads + highways and less likely for bends). If anyone can help me out on the offsets to give me the best look for this setup it would be appreciated! PS: 03 DG w/ Brembos

go with 18x8 +23 & 18x9 +22. very small lips, but like you said...you're trying to avoid that. as for the tires, you can use your stocks, but i'd get something else instead.

Out of curiosity, what is wrong with the stock pilot sports?

nothing is wrong with them. i just prefer a different brand. e.g. toyo, falken, bridgestone SO3, etc. if you use your stocks on that setup, the rears will be stretched. that's totally okay. stretch tires wear faster, but the lip of the rim will stick out. if you suck at parking i'd get tires that won't stretch.

I had SO3's on my past car, didn't care for the road noise... As for curbing, I've never done that yet *knocks on wood*. I have friends that have done it before and their thick tires didn't save their lips either. I will probably stick with the stock tires for a while. Thanks sen_jen with the fast responses!
