a friend of mine swapped out his Tein Flex's just to see and put these in with the STech's, and he mentioned it's identical at different settings! at the softest setting it's more comfortable than the softest setting on the Flex's. on the stiffest for the D's, it's just about the same stiffness! because it doesn't have a edfc feature, he will be putting the Flex's back in.

imo, if you aint using your car for the full nine/or slam freak, the Dspecs with aftermarket springs might just do what a full coilover susp. does. if i do keep my car, i might just try these.

Identical? no way, the Flex's come with much higher spring rates than the
STechs.

But if you're talking about the damping capacity, yes, it is very compariable
to the HA's (higher capa than Flex) I had before on my 98 lude and 02 wrx.

i had HA's and Flex's on my '00 Lude too. i put HA's in my ex's IS too and they were okay, but were too noisy, and bottomed out. Flex's were geez.

identical at different settings my friend. yes, i know the spring rates are totally different. i should have said in terms of ride quality. at Flex's softest setting/Dspec Stech's softest= almost identical. Myb'z homes.

Just wondering....why are you comparing the softest settings?
