i shipped my tires to pepboys. just wondering if yall think they will be able to mount them. it is a 235/40/19 on a 19x9.5.

 

sure they can unless their tire machine maxes out at 18s. whether or not they will scratch ur wheels or not idk. probably will. why don't u call them and ask

 

You must trust these guys

 

Pep Boys...seriously? I wouldn't trust them to put wiper blades on my Honda! (lawnmower) Pick up the tires/wheels and take them to your favorite tire shop, someone like American tire where they'll get the job done right. Pep Boys, almost a bad as Sears!

Gary and I sometimes disagree, but I'll back him up 110% on this. Don't EVER trust pep boys with ANYTHING!

 

Pretty stretched with the 235, you really need more like a 255 - 265 on that width wheel. 235 is suggested for up to 7.5" wheel width. They might not want to do it because of the stretch

 

thanks they couldnt stretch the tire on the rim so i went to a local place and they got i done easy

 

Pep boys really do suck if they couldn't mount that, 235/40 on 9.5 is barely a stretch.
