Alignment questions for people with camber arms
Alignment questions for people with camber arms
How much did you pay for an alignment? I assume its going to have to be a custom job. I have the Cusco front A-arms and the Kinetix rear camber rods sitting in my living room and I am considering selling them. I am not sure its going to be cost effective when I can just rotate the tires side to side at around 10,000 miles and get around 20,000 out of the set. Any opinions on this? My camber really isn't that bad at -1.2 in the front and -1.8 in the rear.
I paid 125 for performance alignment (for exotic car) for the rear rods. (I had a 20%
off coupon though.
)
Im at -1.8 front and rear about -2.3. You're fine, just get your toe-in aligned if
you're seeing inner-tread wear. My tires are wearing flat.

I have gotten a lot of PM's about the camber arms, especially the Cusco, and I wanted to let everyone know they are not for sale. I decided to install them and I am scheduled for an alignment today. I will post the results later for those interested in the range of adjustability.
I have the SPC camber arms and toe bolts in the rear, and I was able to get everything aligned how I wanted it in the rear (-1.6 deg camber, 1mm toe-in each side), but the front's camber isn't adjustable, so I'm stuck with it (-1.8 deg like kenchan) but my toe and caster were able to be set to specs (toe-in = 0.5mm/side; caster - 8.2 deg) - I'm going to see how the fronts wear with the specs how they are, and if I think it's something to worry about, I'll splurge for the Cusco pieces before the next set (since I'm moving up to pricey 19" tires)
